The Brees Family got started
in the Quarter Horse racing industry on a 27 acre ranch in Rimrock, AZ. The
family started raising champion running horses in the 1970’s and continued on
into the 1980’s.
After leaving the racing scene they wanted to have a hand in the halter horse industry, and with help from some friends, we
acquired the mare; Secure Mia Page in 2002. In 2003 we were introduced to Fred Tabor with the Tabor Ranch and
Secure Mia Page was delivered to Aubrey, Texas and Mr. Tabor took the Brees Ranch straight to the winners circle.
In 2004 Mia went to the APHA World Show and was shown by Cameron Brees in amateur, placing 8th out of a class of 30
plus entries. Shown by Jason Smith in open, placing 6th out of 30
plus entries. Mia finished the 2004 year as the leading 2 year old mare in
the nation and winning the honor roll.
The Brees family then wanted to try there luck in the breeding aspect of the business. The end of 2004 they acquired the young up and coming stallion, The Boys Night Out. They also with the help of some friends, purchased a hand picked group of broodmares to breed to The
Boys Night Out, and in 2006 the Brees Ranch had their first foals by Boy, and they
are very impressive. Sadly The
Boys Night Out passed away January 1, 2007 just as his career as a sire was beginning.

The Brees family proudly owns AQHA/PHBA Stallion Sheiks Sand and invite you to see the foals he is producing.

The Brees Ranch is very thankful for all the help and guidance that they have received and have high hopes for the future.
